RIDI becomes corporate friend of Superhero Series

We are proud to let you know that RIDI has become a corporate friend of Superhero Series. The series is the UK’s one and only disability sports series for the Everyday Superhero! The idea is simple. To create fun, full-throttle challenges where people with disabilities call the shots and don’t have to worry about cut-off times or equipment restrictions.

Superhero Series was created by Paralympian Sophia Warner and it has ambassadors such as Paralympic champion Sophie Christiansen CBE, who gave a great speech at first annual conference in October. The events in the series also create opportunities for disabled and non-disabled people to compete together, setting a great example for inclusion in sport.

Kate Headley, Chair of the RIDI executive committee, said: “We are thrilled to become a corporate friend of the brilliant Superhero Series. We feel the series sets a great example, showing that disabled people can get active and get involved in sport. It definitely promotes the same idea that RIDI does – disabled people can have a full role in life and society if we all work together to help remove the barriers that exist to them taking part.”

There will be a RIDI team at the Superhero Tri event in August, so please get in touch with us if you want get involved. Or if your organisation wants to help support Superhero Series and become a corporate partner, which helps fund the series, please visit the ‘become a corporate friend’ section of the Superhero Series website.
