The workshop was initially designed to upskill Lloyd’s staff involved in the hiring process at all levels. Paul Awcock, Head of Talent Sourcing and Business Partnering at Lloyd’s said “We have created internal excellence in hiring at Lloyd’s through our best in class learning programme that has been developed through our partnership with the Clear Company. We wanted to extend the reach of this learning and have worked with RIDI and the Clear Company to adapt the course for RIDI partners”.
The workshop aims to embed consistency and best practice in recruitment for hiring managers and/or HR and recruitment professionals. Uniquely, it delivers skills-based learning as well as drive behavioural change and new ways of thinking.
HR professionals from the Civil Service, Amey, McLaren, Highways England, HS2 and Talent Training UK attended the event. The sessions were intensive, challenging and fun, transforming attendees into ambassadors for inclusive recruitment.
The workshop was well-received with 100% positive rating against all areas including content, delivery and application of learning. All delegates agreed that they had invested two days in their personal development, leaving them eager to learn more and keen to implement their learning.
Reflecting on their workshop experience, delegates’ feedback includes:

“I realised some of the bad habits I’ve developed which I have now addressed – can’t wait to introduce what I’ve learnt to colleagues across the business!”
“I feel much more confident to review and update all our job briefs, I realise now they are so out of date.”
“It has really shown me the impact of being restrictive in our practices, we miss out on so much talent.”
