Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative welcomes Gold partner, Talent FM.

Leading disability recruitment organisation, the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) is delighted to announce Executive Search Consultancy Talent FM as Gold Partner.  Talent FM join the Clear Company, DWF, Lloyd’s of London and Guidant Global who continue their longstanding association with RIDI.

The disability employment gap in the UK currently stands at 29.2%% (ONS, Disability and Employment UK 2019).  RIDI is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation and has been consistently influencing change through its work with in-house recruiters and recruitment consultancies since 2011. It provides practical, proactive advice for businesses seeking to invest in disabled talent and as organisations begin to move away from the temporary measures required by the pandemic and plan for long term return to work the need for a holistic approach to disability inclusion is more vital than ever.

A regular series of virtual roundtables take place throughout the year offering insight and ideas from RIDI Award winners while RIDI partners have access to best practice toolkits and advice, exclusive to RIDI, in order to accelerate their Disability Confident journey.

Core to RIDI’s success in creating change throughout the recruitment sector are the strategic partnerships the leadership team have built with industry and sector influencers such as Talent FM enabling it to make a valuable contribution to the working lives of disabled people.  Executive Search Consultancy Talent FM places senior facilities management and corporate real estate professionals with clients throughout the UK and EMEA and has long recognised the need for inclusive recruitment to be business as usual.

“Organisations that champion diversity are proven to be more successful and find it easier to attract and retain talent. Small changes to recruitment processes go a long way to removing barriers to disabled talent and I look forward to a partnership that will add value to the Facilities Management sector and enable Talent FM to be part of essential change in recruitment” stated Talent FM Founder and Director Nikki Dallas

Kate Headley, subject matter expert and RIDI Chair commented “As businesses navigate their Covid journeys we have an unparalleled opportunity to build disability inclusion and equity into our recruitment processes ensuring that employers can be confident in attracting and retaining disabled talent.  Forward thinking organisations such as Talent FM are essential in keeping disabled job seekers not only visible but recognised for the immense value they have to offer”
