In this Roundtable we celebrated the Best Candidate Experience category in the RIDI Awards. Pauline Miller, Head of Culture at Lloyd’s was joined by Sarah Charlesworth, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at DWF Law, Florence Van Schependom-Brown, Resourcing and Talent Acquisition Manager at DWF Law and Glenda Kladitis, Senior HR Business Partner at the Pension Protection Fund.
The panel talked about their recruiting processes and experience of reasonable adjustments (what are most commonly asked for and what difference they’ve made). They also talked about the support they give their managers for interviewing disabled candidates and ensuring their approach is inclusive. Finally, the all important question of how can recruiters and employers encourage more disabled job-seekers to apply for their roles.
