RIDI announces new appointment to the Executive Team

The Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI), the leading organisation of Disability Recruitment in the UK, is delighted to welcome Evan Knutson, Senior Program Manager of Disability Inclusion for Amazon’s UK and EU Work Force Staffing teams.

Evan holds an MS in Rehabilitation Counselling and a PhD in Rehabilitation Science, bringing over 10 years of experience building vocational and research programs for Disabled People to the RIDI Executive. This move builds on the newly established and proactive sponsorship between RIDI and Amazon.

Working across Europe to develop and implement strategies to build and operate a sourcing and recruitment program geared towards the disability community, Evan and his team work backwards from the candidate’s experience to build programs that are born accessible, promote equity and support the inclusion of Disabled People.

In July, Evan initiated our speaker panel when we brought together RIDI Pioneers and similar entities for our first face-to-face event of 2024. Everyone present gained considerably from Evan’s expertise, and we’re excited to continue drawing from his wealth of experience in the future.

“Thanks to Kate and the RIDI board for their commitment to excellence in the inclusive recruitment field. I am excited for our work together in the upcoming year!” says Evan on the new partnership.

Kate Headley, RIDI’s Chair added, “Welcome Evan, we very much look forward to your involvement and leadership in our inclusion revolution and we are delighted to have you join our Executive Board.”
