RIDI welcomes new Gold Partner, Amazon
Leading disability recruitment organisation, the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) is delighted to announce multinational technology and e-commerce company Amazon as Gold Partner. Amazon join the Clear Company, Evenbreak, Lloyd’s of London, DWF and Guidant Global who continue their longstanding association with RIDI.
“At Amazon, we believe we work best when our employees reflect the diversity of the customers and communities that we serve. This is why we are committed to being a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace, with a strong commitment to disability inclusion. We are delighted to further our commitment to disability inclusion, through a Gold Level Sponsorship with Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative.” says Amazon.
“As a Level Three Disability Confident Leader, we want to use that status to continue to improve our offerings for our employees while encouraging others to think differently about representation. Together we can drive meaningful change in the disability space.”
Kate Headley, RIDI’s Chair, says “We are thrilled to welcome Amazon as a Gold Partner, solidifying their support of RIDI over the last three years. A key influence in building this sponsorship was the late Jurgen Donaldson who remains a great source of inspiration for what we do and is sadly missed.
We also welcome Evan Knutson to our Executive Board, and we look forward very much to his involvement and leadership supporting our inclusion revolution.”
About us
The Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) has one purpose: to break down the barriers faced by the millions of disabled people who are entering or progressing through the job market.
RIDI believes more needs to be done to build disability confidence into recruitment and employment strategies and campaigns actively to achieve this.
We help recruiters and employers to become disability confident and offer more job opportunities to disabled people.
